Ceremony for receiving a donation offered by the British authorities to the Lebanese Army
The Lebanese Army Command- Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
A ceremony was held at the Logistics Brigade in Kfarshima to receive vehicles spare parts provided as a donation from the British authorities to the Lebanese Armed Forces in the presence of the British Ambassador to Lebanon, Mr. Hamish Cowell, and the Commander of the Logistics Brigade representing the LAF Commander, General Joseph Aoun, and several officers.
Ambassador Cowell emphasized the continued cooperation of the United Kingdom with the Lebanese Armed Forces and the provision of various forms of support, recognizing its essential role in ensuring stability and civil peace in Lebanon.
On the other hand, the Commander of the Logistics Brigade, Brigadier General Johnny Akl, thanked the British authorities for the donation, stating that it strengthens the logistical and operational capabilities of the military institution and reaffirms the ongoing British support during this crucial phase.
