The Chief of Staff visited the air bases of Hamat and Qleiaat

The Lebanese Army Chief of Staff P.S.C Hatem Mallak visited the Air Bases of Hamat and Qleiaat where he took a tour in their posts and inspected the training activities as well as the ongoing work aimed at developing the facilities and continuing the process of equipping the runways which are set to be completed soon.

The Chief of Staff praised the efforts invested by the officers and the troops and confirmed the Army Command’s determination to develop the Air Force and to acquire additional helicopters, combat airplanes, and reconnaissance airplanes. He stressed the vital role played by the Air Force in continuing the war against terrorism at the eastern border as well as the qualitative feats that the Air Force has achieved during the past battles. He concluded his speech by calling upon the troops to intensify technical and combat training on the newly received airplanes and equipment in a way that enables them to be ready to conduct the future missions in the most efficient possible ways.

Furthermore, Major General P.S.C Mallak visited the Special Forces School in Hamat where he inspected the training and attended a military parade performed by the School’s NCOs where they practiced their combat and technical skills.
