The Chief of Staff visited the Navy Seals Regiment
Chief of Staff, Major General P.S.C Amine el Erem visited this morning the Navy Seals Regiment in Amchit where he toured the training facilities and the treating center for diving accidents, met with officers and soldiers and transferred to them the directives of the Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun.
After attending a briefing concerning the missions of the regiment, the troops performed a combat drill that included taking down a terrorist group in its first phase and close combat with live fire, simulating the raid over terrorists entrenched in buildings through tightening the noose.
Major General P.S.C el Erem commended the skills of the troops of the regiment in dealing with the difficulties and dangers of the sea and in military operations on land. Major General El Erem commended their efforts exerted in developing qualitative training and shed light on the major role of these units in these critical circumstances.
The Chief of staff also ended by calling upon the troops to continue executing the different missions, particularly the development ones, with professionalism and enthusiasm and to be ultimately loyal to the nations and the LAF.
