Citizen arrested for shooting and intimidating citizens in the city of Jounieh

The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On September 17, 2023, an army unit supported by an intelligence patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested the citizen (J.H.) in Jounieh for firing into the air and intimidating citizens. A Kalashnikov rifle along with 16 hand grenades, a substantial amount of ammunition, military equipment, and party flags were seized in his possession.

The seized items were handed over, and the investigation was initiated with the arrestee under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
