The Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, General Rodolphe Haykal inaugurated the ceremony of the Military Academy Museum after its renovation and renewal. The ceremony was attended by the Dutch Ambassador to Lebanon, Mr. Frank Mollen, and the Commander of the Academy, officers, and supporters of the project. General Haykal toured the museum's sections, praising the significance of the project as it helps preserve the history of the army, stating that "those who have no history have no present or future." He also thanked the Lebanese contributors and the Dutch Special Forces for their support, emphasizing that the army's continuity largely depends on the love and solidarity of the Lebanese people, along with ongoing cooperation with friendly armies.

On another note, General Haykal met with the cadet officers and addressed them, saying, "You volunteered to join the army amidst the difficult economic and social conditions Lebanon is facing, which reflects your sound national upbringing and your commitment to serving the nation." He concluded by noting that the graduation of the cadet officers after completing their training at the Military Academy prepares them to take on significant responsibilities in serving their country.
