Continuation of investigations about the boat sinking incident at sea off the city of Tripoli

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

Following the unfortunate incident that led to the boat sinking at sea off the city of Tripoli on 23/04/2022, in which innocent lives had been lost, the Intelligence Directorate continues its investigations, on the basis of an instruction issued by the Government Commissioner to the Military Court Judge Fadi Akiki. The scene of the incident was inspected by him with a team of investigating officers. The investigations continue to uncover the circumstances of the incident.
