Denying news reported by a Media Outlet Regarding the Results of the Entrance Exam to the Military Academy

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
A media outlet reported information regarding an alleged issue related to the results of the entrance exam to the Military Academy, announced on October 29, 2024, concerning the sectarian balance in the number of accepted candidates.
The Army Command wishes to clarify that it applied criteria of competence and complete transparency in this exam, similar to all exams conducted in previous years while ensuring parity and the success factor without any invalidating score. The total number of successful candidates reached two hundred, distributed equally and according to the approved ratios for sects and denominations.
The Army Command urges media outlets not to publish any inaccurate information related to the military institution and to refer to its official statements and accounts.
