The Lebanese Army Commander-in-Chief, General Rodolph Haykal, visited the Sixth Infantry Brigade at Mohammed Makki Barracks in Baalbek, the Ninth Infantry Brigade at Ahmad Tabikh Barracks in Labweh, and the Second Land Border Regiment at Elias Khoury Barracks in Ras Baalbek. During his visit, he was briefed on operational missions within their areas of responsibility, met with officers and soldiers, and congratulated them on the occasion of Lebanese Army Day. He expressed his pride in their achievements and professional performance, noting that their dedication has earned the trust of the Lebanese people. Addressing the troops, he said: "I salute your dedication and your faith in your mission. I have confidence in your awareness and determination, and I urge you to continue giving your utmost effort, because our people deserve every sacrifice and every contribution we can make."
Referring to the complex circumstances in which the military institution operates, General Haykal stressed that the Army Command's top priority is to preserve internal stability while maintaining operational readiness and preparedness for any developments.
