Graduation ceremony of the 75th Commando Induction Course
A graduation and certificate distribution ceremony was held at the Special Forces School in Hamat for the soldiers who completed the 75th Commando Induction Course, named after the martyr Private Georges Abdo. The ceremony was presided over by the Commander of the Special Forces School, representing the Lebanese Army Commander-in-Chief, General Rodolph Haykal, in the presence of Major General P.S.C. Fadi Makhoul, the Inspector General, the family of the martyr Private Georges Abdo, and several officers.
In his speech, the Commander of the Special Forces School, Colonel P.S.C. Nicolas El Khabbaz, said:
“What you have acquired during this period of intense training in various forms of special combat constitutes one of the most important weapons in confronting the dangers facing our nation. Experience has clearly shown that advanced technology and modern weaponry can never replace the seasoned, well-prepared soldier distinguished by initiative and drive.”
He concluded by congratulating the graduates and wishing them success and prosperity.
