Graduation Ceremony for Trainee Customs Officers at the Customs General Directorate at the Ranks Institute – Mohammed Maki Barracks

This morning, a graduation ceremony was held for trainee customs officers from the Customs General Directorate, who completed a military training course at the NCO Institute – Mohammed Maki Barracks. The event was attended by the commander of the institute, representing LAF Commander General Rodolph Haykal, the Interim Director General of Customs, Raymond Khoury, the Acting President of the Higher Customs Council, Rima Maki, and several officers.
Brigadier General Simon Zoughaib, the commander of the institute, delivered a speech stating: "Your graduation is a beacon of hope amidst the crises facing Lebanon. You demonstrate through your determination, insistence, and dedication that the nation is still alive, strong, and pulsating with the energy of its youth, and that its institutions are moving forward in the ongoing journey of progress despite the numerous difficulties and significant challenges they face."
At the end of the ceremony, a military parade took place, featuring the graduates.
