The honoring ceremony of Major General P.S.C Samir el Hajj on the occasion of his retirement

The Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun presided in Yarzeh today the honoring ceremony of Major General P.S.C Samir el Hajj on the occasion of his retirement. The ceremony was attended by the members of the military council and a number of high ranked officers. General Aoun delivered a speech on the occasion in which he commended the journey of Major General P.S.C el Hajj and his dedication throughout his period of duty. General Aoun valued the active role of Major General el Hajj as member of the military council and as a main contributor in major decisions related to the military institution.

Major General P.S.C el Hajj also delivered a speech in which he expressed his appreciation to the Armed Forces Commander for his interest and care and promised to remain loyal to the military institution that is a guarantee for the stability, sovereignty and independence of the nation.

In the end, General Aoun offered Major General el Hajj the LAF shield as a token of gratitude and appreciation.
