Inauguration of the “Advanced Emergency Room”

The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

The Army Command inaugurated the Advanced Emergency Room to follow up on the humanitarian and development situations in the devastated area of Beirut, headed by Brigadier General P.S.C Sami Al-Houwayek. The Emergency Room includes representatives of: the Ministry of communication, The Ministry of Public Works and Transportation, The Ministry of Energy, The Ministry of Health and The Ministry of Social Affairs, in addition to representatives of: Mouhafazat Beirut, Beirut Municipality Board, Lebanese Red Cross, Civil Defense, and High Relief Committee.
This emergency room handles humanitarian and rescue missions in cooperation with associations, NGOs and civil society at the devastated area outside the blast area. The Room HQ will be set up at the Mouhafaza building. The Emergency Room puts the following phone numbers at the disposal of citizens for complaints and reviews: 01987001-2-3, or fax: 01987004.
