Inauguration of the Bater - Chouf Health Center after Rehabilitation
As part of the cooperation program between the Military-Civilian Cooperation Directorate of the LAF and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, a ceremony was held to inaugurate the Bater - Chouf Health Center following its rehabilitation, supported by the Dutch authorities. The event was attended by the Dutch Ambassador to Lebanon, Frank Mollen, the Director of Military-Civilian Cooperation in the LAF, representing the Interim LAF Commander, Major General Hassan Audi, and Mrs. Rima Abu Shaqra, representing the Ministry of Public Health, as well as several officers and local dignitaries.
During the ceremony, Brigadier General Iyad Al Alam, Director of Military-Civilian Cooperation, delivered a speech stating: "The rehabilitation of the health center represents a qualitative leap in health services in the region. This project reflects the constructive cooperation between the LAF and the local community and is part of the ongoing and appreciated initiatives by the Dutch authorities to support Lebanon."
He concluded by thanking the Dutch authorities and the DCAF organization, which participated in implementing the project. On the other hand, Ambassador Mollen emphasized the importance of cooperation projects with the LAF to improve the conditions of Lebanese citizens in various regions, noting that these projects will continue in the future.
