Individuals arrested and an amount of fuel and cigarettes prepared for smuggling seized

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On 03 and 04/05/2021, the army units deployed in the North and Bekaa, arrested 4 citizens and a Syrian and seized 5 cars, a motorcycle, around 1140 liters of diesel, 966 liters of gas and an amount of cigarette packs and tobacco, set for being smuggled into Syrian territory.
The seized items were handed over and an investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judiciary authorities.
