Individuals arrested and an amount of fuel, flour and medicine set for smuggling seized

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On 8 and 9/05/2021, the army units deployed in the North and Bekaa, arrested 7 citizens and 5 Syrians and seized 4 vans, 2 Pickups, 3 motorcycles, all loaded with 3200 liters of gas, 1500 liters of diesel, 320 sacks of flour and an amount of medicine set for being smuggled into Syrian territory.
The seized items were handed over and an investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judiciary authorities.
