Individuals arrested and an amount of material prepared for smuggling seized

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 02/05/2021, the army units, deployed in the North and Bekaa, arrested 4 citizens and 4 Syrians and seized a cistern, 4 pickup trucks, a van and a car loaded with 6790 liters of gas, 930 liters of diesel, and 71 charcoal boxes "for hookahs", set for being smuggled into Syrian territory.

The arrested individuals and the seized items were turned in to the competent judiciary authorities.
