Individuals arrested and an amount of material prepared for smuggling seized

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 01/05/2021, the army units deployed in the North and Bekaa, arrested 14 citizens and seized 3 cisterns, 4 pickup trucks, a van, 2 cars loaded with 24.000 liters of gas, 43.000 liters of diesel, and 6 tons of flour set for being smuggled into Syrian territory.

The arrested individuals and the seized items were turned in to the competent judiciary authorities.
