Individuals arrested and an amount of material set for smuggling seized

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On 10/05/2021, the army units deployed in the North and Bekaa, arrested 3 citizens and 3 Syrians and seized 2 cars, a cistern, a pickup, all loaded with 19500 liters of diesel, subsidized foodstuff and an amount of cigarette packs and tobacco, set for being smuggled into Syrian territory.
The seized items were handed over and an investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judiciary authorities.
