Individuals arrested Hay El Sellom and Haret Hreik for drug abuse and trafficking

The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

A patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested the citizen (AA.K.) in Hay El Sellom for drug trafficking, and found a quantity of marijuana, hashish, heroin, and a sum of money in his possession. The Syrian (M.M.) was also arrested for drug abuse and trafficking, illegal entry into Lebanese territory, and moving without legal papers. A quantity of drugs was also found in his possession.

Another patrol from the Directorate also arrested the citizen (H.AA.) and the Syrian (H.AA.) in Haret Hreik for drug abuse and trafficking. A quantity of cocaine, a military pistol, and a sum of money were found in their possession.

The seized items were handed over, and the investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
