The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

Since yesterday, the Israeli enemy has intensified its attacks on Lebanon, using various pretexts. It carried out dozens of airstrikes south and north of Litani, extending into the Bekaa Valley, causing martyrs and wounded, as well as significant damage to property.

Furthermore, Israeli military and engineering vehicles crossed the technical fence this morning and carried out bulldozing operations in the Qatamoun Valley in the outskirts of the town of Rmeich. Additionally, enemy infantry forces infiltrated these Lebanese territories, in a flagrant violation of Resolution 1701 and the ceasefire agreement.

In response, the army reinforced its presence in the area, and a patrol from the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) arrived to document the violations, while the enemy forces withdrew back into the occupied territories.

The Army Command is closely monitoring developments in coordination with UNIFIL and the relevant authorities to contain the situation on the southern border.
