Israeli enemy infiltrates by land into the town of Blida – Marjaayoun, fires on the municipal building, and targets one of its employees, resulting in his martyrdom. The Army Command requested the Mechanism to put an end to the Israeli enemy’s violations

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

In the early hours of October 30, 2025, information was received regarding gunfire near the Municipality of Blida – Marjaayoun. A Lebanese Army patrol immediately moved to the scene, where it was confirmed that an enemy ground unit had infiltrated the town, opened fire on the municipal building, and targeted one of its employees, leading to his martyrdom. The act perpetrated by the Israeli enemy constitutes a criminal offense, a blatant violation of Lebanese sovereignty, and a breach of the cessation of hostilities agreement and United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701. It falls within the framework of the enemy’s ongoing aggression against peaceful citizens. The false claims and baseless pretexts put forward by the enemy are entirely unfounded and serve only to justify its continued violations against our nation and our people. The Lebanese Army Command has requested that the Mechanism committee take immediate action to put an end to the Israeli enemy’s repeated violations. The Command continues to monitor these violations in coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
