The LAF Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On the occasion of the first phase of the municipal and optional elections taking place on Sunday, May 4, 2025, in the Mount Lebanon Governorate, the deployed military units have begun implementing exceptional security measures, including setting up temporary checkpoints and conducting patrols to maintain security and stability during the electoral process and to prevent any issues.
Therefore, the LAF Command urges citizens to cooperate with these measures to ensure their safety and security, and to enable them to express their opinions at the ballot boxes in an atmosphere of freedom and democracy.
