LAF Commander Attends Farewell Ceremony for U.S. CENTCOM Commander

On August 8, 2025, LAF Commander General Rodolph Haykal participated in the farewell ceremony for the Commander of the United States Central Command (CENTCOM), General Michael Kurilla. Admiral Brad Cooper assumed the new command.

The ceremony was held at the Tampa Convention Center in the U.S. state of Florida, in the presence of several senior officials from the U.S. Department of Defense, as well as military leaders from several countries.

A meeting was also held between General Haykal and Admiral Cooper along with members of the new leadership, during which both sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation and support stability in the region.
