The LAF Continues Deployment in the Area South of the Litani River, Units Expand their Presence in the Central Sector

The Lebanese Armed Forces Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

Military units have deployed in the towns of Qouzah, Debel, Haneen, and Beit Lif - Bint Jbeil in the central sector of the south of the Litani River following the withdrawal of the Israeli enemy, in coordination with the Quintet Committee overseeing the ceasefire agreement (Mechanism).

The Army Command is also maintaining close coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) regarding the situation in the aforementioned area, as part of Resolution 1701.

The Army Command urges citizens not to approach areas from which the Israeli enemy is withdrawing and to adhere to the instructions of the military units.
