The Lebanese Armed Forces Commander in Chief Visits Several Units Deployed in the Bekaa
The Lebanese Armed Forces Commander in Chief, General Rodolphe Haykal, visited the command of the Second Land Border Regiment, as well as the "Qozhayya Bitar" and "Al Mcharafa" centers affiliated with the regiment in Qaa, and one of the units belonging to the Ninth Infantry Brigade in Hermel. He met with officers and soldiers, congratulating them on the occasion of the holidays, and learned about the difficulties facing the units within their area of responsibility. He praised their efforts in monitoring and securing the borders, which directly contributes to maintaining Lebanon's security and stability.
He stated, "The Lebanese Armed Forces is the national institution that unites and protects our country with all its components. Soldiers from various Lebanese regions come together to defend the nation and ensure its security both internally and along the borders. You are fulfilling your duty to the fullest thanks to your determination, combating smuggling, and playing a positive role in the border area between Lebanon and Syria while maintaining ongoing communication and coordination with the Syrian authorities."
He also emphasized that Lebanon's primary enemy is the Israeli enemy, which insists on continuous violations of Lebanon's sovereignty and the security of its citizens.
Additionally, General Haykal pointed out the ongoing efforts by the Army Command to enhance military medical capabilities, aiming to provide the best possible healthcare for soldiers and their families.
