The Lebanese Armed Forces Commander, General Joseph Aoun, continued his meetings within the framework of his visit to the United States, where he met with the Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Congressman Michael McCaul, and Congressman Gregory Meeks, as well as a several members of the Congressional US-Lebanon Friendship Caucus. The discussions focused on the general situation in Lebanon and the region, the challenges currently facing the military institution, and its fundamental needs to continue preserving Lebanon's security and stability.
