Lebanese Army Arrests 4 Citizens for provoking clashes and Opening Fire in Ain Al Dahab – Akkar and Al Bawaba Al Fawqa – Saida

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On October 21, 2026, following security surveillance and follow-up operations, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested Lebanese citizens (H.A.), (R.A.), and (AA.A.) in Ain Al Dahab – Akkar for provoking clashes and opening fire in the aforementioned town on October 19, 2026, resulting in the death of one person.

Another patrol from the Directorate arrested Lebanese citizen (M.AA.) in Al Bawaba Al Fawqa – Saida for opening fire with a military pistol during a personal dispute on October 20, 2026, resulting in the injury of one person.

The investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
