The Lebanese Army Commander in Chief lays the foundation stone for a barrack dedicated to the Rangers Regiment and the Officers' Club in the Bekaa region, and inaugurates the Officers' Club in Rayak.
The Lebanese Army Commander in Chief, General Joseph Aoun, laid the foundation stone for a barrack belonging to the Rangers Regiment in the Mrah Al Dishar area of Al Mtein. The event was attended by MP Michel Daher, local dignitaries, and businessmen who will fund the construction of the barracks. Mr. Emil Akl provided the designated land for this purpose. The barrack is located on the Baskinta - Zahle road and will provide security and reassurance for the residents of the area and the road users.
General Aoun also laid the foundation stone for the Officers' Club in the Bekaa region in the presence of former MP Cezar Maalouf and Mr. Ghassan Saliba, who provided the land for the club's construction.
The Army Commander in Chief emphasized that the continued strength and resilience of the military institution are due to the soldiers' unwavering commitment to their homeland, their cause, and the sanctity of their mission. He also highlighted the trust of the Lebanese people inside and outside Lebanon and their love for the military institution, as well as their eagerness to support it with all available means.
Following these events, the opening of the Rayak Officers' Club took place, after expanding its sections and updating its facilities.
