The Army Command organized a field tour for media outlets to review the implementation of the first phase of the Army’s plan in the South Litani Sector, in accordance with the decision of the political authority, and to present the missions carried out by military units in this context.

The tour began at the South Litani Sector Command in Tyre, where a detailed briefing was presented on the steps completed so far, including the handling of several tunnels, the closure of multiple crossings, and the seizure of a large quantity of weapons and ammunition. The briefing also highlighted the reinforcement of unit deployments in the sector despite the difficulties and challenges faced by the military institution, as well as the ongoing Israeli violations and breaches.

Afterwards, journalists, accompanied by Army officers, moved to the Lahlah area in the outskirts of Alma Al Shaab opposite the occupied Lebanese Labbouneh Hill, and to Wadi Al Azziyeh and Wadi Zebqine, where they inspected several locations included in the Army’s plan.

During the tour, it was emphasized that the military institution remains committed to carrying out all assigned missions and implementing the plan within its designated timeline, in coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) and the Committee for the Cessation of Hostilities (Mechanism).
