OBITUARY OF RETIRED BRIGADIER GENERAL CHARLES Alferzli

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation mourns Retired Brigadier General Charles Alferzli (750077), who passed away on Friday 11 September 2026. The following is a brief overview of his life:
•    Born on 8 May 1950, in Tripoli.

•    Enlisted in the Army on 13 November 1972, and was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 August 1975. He subsequently rose through the ranks, reaching the rank of General as of 1 January 2002.
•    Recipient of several medals, as well as multiple commendations and congratulations from the Army Commander-in-Chief.
•    Attended several training courses in Lebanon and abroad.
•    Married and father of three children.
