The LAF and Alwaleed Bin Talal Humanitarian Foundation signed a protocol of cooperation under which Alwaleed Bin Talal Humanitarian Foundation funded the addition of one floor at the Central Military Hospital as a contribution to enhance the medical care for soldiers, retired personnel and their families.

The protocol was signed by LAF Commander in Chief General Joseph Aoun and the Vice President of Alwaleed Bin Talal Humanitarian Foundation Mrs. Leila Solh Hamadeh, who delivered a speech in which she praised the sacrifices made by LAF and noted:

In the month of Independence, we chose the protectors of independence, we chose the military institution. When all the institutions collapsed, LAF remained steadfast, and when the country splintered, LAF remained united, and when the people in charge failed, the LAF stood firm. It is the wisdom of LAF Commander in Chief General Joseph Aoun. I salute you and the followers of "Honor, Sacrifice, Loyalty”.

Mrs. Al-Solh noted the great development witnessed by the Central Military Hospital, stating that the Alwaleed Bin Talal Foundation decided to join the Military Healthcare in its progress and to double the hospital patient capacity by adding a floor at the Central Military Hospital.

Then, General Aoun delivered a speech in which he praised the donation submitted by Alwaleed Bin Talal Foundation under the auspices of minister Solh, and the cross-religion services and the projects implemented in all the country with no consideration to affiliation or identity, which supported development and contributed in meeting many needs, while a large part of these contributions went to LAF.

“You are kindly helping the Military Healthcare by adding a floor to provide the best medical care for soldiers, retired personnel and their families. This floor will increase the hospital patient capacity”.
