Raid and arrest of 8 individuals in various regions as part of security measures

The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

As part of the security measures carried out by the military institution in various areas, patrols from the Directorate of Intelligence arrested 8 individuals as follows:

• Citizens (K.H.), (W.H.), (AA.H.), and (M.AA.) were arrested in the town of Al Hosniya – Akkar, for forming a theft gang, creating disturbances and firing weapons. Weapons, military ammunition, and a quantity of drugs were seized in their possession.
• Raids were conducted on the residences of wanted individuals in the Dahye Janoubiye, resulting in the arrest of citizens (R.SH.) and (B.SH.) and the Syrian national (A.GH.) for drug use and trafficking. A large quantity of drugs and hashish were seized in their possession.
• The Syrian national (M.Aa.) was arrested in the Borj Al Barajne – Dahye Janoubiye, for trafficking military weapons and drug use.

The seized items were handed over, and an investigation was initiated with the detainees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
