Raid and arrest of one of the wanted persons in Maqneh - Bekaa

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On 19/7/2024, an army unit, supported by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, raided the residences of wanted individuals in Maqneh - Bekaa, for shooting using military weapons previously. They seized many wireless communication devices.
A patrol from the Intelligence Directorate also arrested the wanted individual (H.M.) for having several arrest warrants against him for the crime of opening fire toward residences and one of the military personnel, which led to his injury.
The seized items were handed over and the investigation with the arrestee was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
