Raid and arrest operations of a wanted person in Nahr El Bared Camp

The Lebanese Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On 8/7/2024, following a clash involving gunfire in the Nahr El Bared camp, an Army force raided the residences of the shooters and arrested the wanted person (J.AA.). During the raid operation, the force was subjected to stone-throwing and gunfire in the air.
The deployed Army units took the necessary measures and worked to raid the residences of the shooters to arrest them.
The investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
