Raids and arrests in Ersal

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

An intelligence Directorate unit launched a raid in the town of Ersal targeting the residence of one (J.H) who was arrested along with other suspects. (J.H) leads a group of perpetrators affiliated to the terrorist organization ISIS and participated in the fighting against LAF units in Ersal. He is wanted according to several warrants of arrests among which: contacting terrorists, opening fire against citizens, arms trafficking, auto theft. Inside his residence, army troops discovered a tunnel stretching out of the house where they found a cache of weapons, ammunition and explosives.

The suspects and the confiscated items were turned in to the relevant judiciary authorities and investigation is in process.
