Raids in the towns of Makne and Beit Altochm- Bekaa and one individual arrested

The Lebanese Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 20/5/2024, an army unit assisted by a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence raided the residence of citizen (A.H.H.) in the town of Beit Altachm- Bekaa and arrested him as he was wanted for opening fire towards civilians. A military rifle, ammunition, and Captagon pills were seized from his possession.

Another unit also raided the residences of wanted individuals in the town of Maqneh - Bekaa for committing crimes of kidnapping, opening fire, and drug trafficking. Military weapons and quantities of ammunition were seized.

The seized items were handed over and the investigation was initiated with the arrestee under the supervision of the competent judicial authority.
