Reading of the Order of the Day on the Occasion of the 79th Anniversary of Army Day
On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the Army Day, a symbolic military ceremony was held at the Ministry of National Defense in Yarze, presided the Chief of Staff Brigadier General Hassan Audi, representing the LAF Commander, General Joseph Aoun. The Deputy Chiefs of Staff and command staff officers attended.
The Chief of Staff read the Order of the Day to the military personnel and reviewed the units stationed in the command building.
Similar ceremonies for reading the Order of the Day were also held in the regional commands, institutes, colleges, schools, the Air Force, Navy, and other major units.

Seventy-nine years of honor, sacrifice, and loyalty to our homeland, which is weathering the storms of challenges and crises, yet remains steadfast through the unwavering resolve of its army, whose heroic men have day by day proven their commitment to their oath, showing bravery in the face of enemies - from the Israeli enemy to terrorists, as well as those who disrupt security and violate the law. Through years of dedication and sacrifice, the army has offered the best of its youth to defend Lebanon and its people, and among them those who have sacrificed their blood, martyred or wounded, in devotion to the sacred mission that remains their paramount priority.

Our country is facing the gravest of crises and challenges, politically, financially, and socially, in addition to the threat posed by the daily aggression of the Israeli enemy, and the casualties, destruction, and displacement it inflicts. Yet, efforts to de-escalate the situation and achieve a lasting ceasefire persist. Meanwhile, the military units deployed in the south continue to coordinate with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon under the framework of Resolution 1701, in the hope of restoring calm and security to our southern region and enabling our people to enjoy stability. At the same time, you continue your efforts to maintain security and control the borders in all regions, undeterred by the campaigns targeting the military institution for known purposes. Meanwhile, you continue to grow in resolve and determination, reinforcing the Lebanese people's confidence in their homeland, and contributing to the return of expatriates to its soil. The command continues to stand by your side, ensuring the means for your resilience. The national spirit and drive you possess make you a source of hope and a guarantee for Lebanon's unity and continuity, further fueling our pride in you. In doing so, you have earned a prestigious place in the hearts of the Lebanese people and the international community.

Your sacrifices are the guarantee for the continued existence of Lebanon. Uphold your motto of honor, sacrifice, and loyalty. Remain steadfast in your institution, which will not abandon you or your family.
To our youth who aspire to build their futures beyond our borders, we call on them to cling to their homeland, for it has great need of them, and so does the military institution which is ready to welcome them into its ranks so that we may unite together in defending our nation.
Do not lose hope in your homeland, for the crisis will certainly subside, and Lebanon will regain its luster and prosperity. The Lebanese people will reclaim their rightful place in their region. Lebanon deserves every sacrifice, and together we can rise and revive it once more.
