Removal of Earthen Berm and Opening of Road in Al Adaysseh – Marjeyoun

The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

An army unit worked to remove a newly established earthen berm set up by the Israeli enemy in the town of Al Adaysseh – Marjeyoun, and reopened the road leading to one of the hills in the town in coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).

During the unit's operation, enemy forces fired shots into the air near the army personnel to force them to withdraw; however, the unit continued its work while reinforcing its presence against the enemy until the road was opened.
