A soldier Found killed at a guard post within the Beirut port area

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
During the Night of 13-14/6/2024, a soldier assigned to guard duty within the Beirut port area was found killed by two gunshot wounds from a pistol. In addition, the soldier’s weapon was not found.
The specialized units in the army have taken over the investigation of the crime scene, and the investigation is ongoing to determine the circumstances of the incident.
