A soldier was killed and five others, including an officer, were injured as a result of an Israeli attack

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On March 30, 2026, a soldier was killed, and five others were injured, including an officer whose condition was moderate, as a result of a direct Israeli attack on an army checkpoint in Al Aameriya on the Qlaileh–Tyre road.
This attack comes within the context of the ongoing Israeli aggression against Lebanon, which has resulted in casualties and injuries among both military personnel and civilians.
