Syrian arrested for drug trafficking in Jal el Dib

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 16/03/2023, a patrol from the intelligence directorate arrested in Jal El Dib the Syrian (AA.R.) for drug trafficking and sneaking into Lebanese territory and staying without legal documents. The patrol seized a big quantity of drugs in his possession.

The seized items were handed over and the investigation was initiated with the arrestee under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
