Tripartite Meeting in Ras El Naqoura

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On 11/02/2022, a special tripartite meeting was held in Ras al-Naqoura, chaired by the Commander of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon - UNIFIL, Head of Mission, Major General Stefano Del Col, and attended by a delegation of Lebanese Army officers headed by the Lebanese Government Coordinator with UNIFIL, Brigadier General P. S. C. Hasib Abdo.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Lebanese delegation praised the efforts made by General Del Col during his tenure as head of the mission, wishing him success in future missions, and wishing the new commander success in his missions.
The Lebanese side also brought up the Israeli enemy’s continuous violations, hold the enemy responsible for the consequences and called on the United Nations to exert pressure on the Israeli enemy in order to curb its hostile practices, especially the use of Lebanese airspace to bomb Syrian territory and its continued violations of Lebanese sovereignty by land, sea and air, reaffirming Lebanon’s commitment to UN resolutions, especially resolution 1701 and all of its components.
The Lebanese side stressed the necessity of the Israeli enemy's withdrawal from all the occupied territories, including: the area adjacent to the north of the Blue Line, Shebaa Farms, and the Kfar Shuba Hills, and the northern part of the Ghajar region, and the occupied B1 spot and the new seventeen points that were considered a permanent violation.
