Visit of a delegation from ITF Enhancing Human Security – Slovenian Government to the Lebanese Mine Action Center

The Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovenian Government, Ms. Tanja Fajon, headed an accompanying delegation, visited the Lebanese Mine Action Center and the Regional School for Humanitarian Demining in Lebanon. This visit included discussing ways of cooperation between the ITF Enhancing Human Security and the aforementioned Center in the field of humanitarian operations. The Center presented the challenges it faces in light of the ongoing engineering survey and treatment of unexploded ordnance.
