Visitors of the Army Commander-in-Chief

The Lebanese Army Commander-in-Chief, General Rodolph Haykal, received at his office in Yarzeh the French Ambassador to Lebanon Patrick Durel, accompanied by Military Attaché Colonel Bruno Costantini, and they discussed the latest developments. General Haykal expressed his gratitude to France for hosting the preparatory meeting for the International Conference in Support of the Lebanese Army and for its efforts to ensure its success.

He also received the UK Defence Senior Advisor to the Middle East and North Africa, Vice Admiral Edward Ahlgren, in the presence of the Chargé d’Affaires of the British Embassy in Lebanon, Victoria Dunne, and an accompanying delegation. The meeting focused on the developments in Lebanon and the region, with both sides reaffirming the importance of the Army’s role in safeguarding Lebanon’s security and stability.
