Visitors of General Aoun

The Lebanese Army Commander in Chief General Joseph Aoun received in his office in Yarzeh the Palestinian Ambassador to Lebanon Achraf Dabbour. They discussed the situation of the Palestinian camps.  
General Aoun stressed the need for continued security coordination between the army and the Palestinian factions to maintain the security of the camps in order to provide a stable environment for their residents, and to prevent them from being exploited by some wanted individuals based on judicial warrants. In this context, the operation that was carried out this morning in Nahr al-Bared camp comes within the regular security measures taken by the military institution in all regions to find wanted individuals, arrest them and refer them to the judicial authorities.
