The Lebanese Army Commander in Chief General Joseph Aoun received in his office in Yarzeh the Director of Middle East and North Africa at the German Foreign Ministry Dr. Tobias Tunkel and Deputy Head of Mission for the German Ambassador to Lebanon, Ms. Katharina Lack, in the presence of the German military attaché Col Heino Matzken and they discussed various matters. He also received a delegation representing His Eminence Sheikh Aql of the Druze monotheistic faith, Sheikh Dr. Sami Abi Al-Mina, which included Sheikh Gandhi Makarem, retired General Shawqi Al-Masri and Sheikh Kamal Abi Al-Mina. The members of the delegation praised the efforts made by the army in light of the current crisis, stressing the continuous support for the military institution.
