VISITORS OF GENERAL AOUN

The Lebanese Army Commander in Chief, General Joseph Aoun, received at his office in Yarzeh the Algerian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mr. Rashid Belaqi, then the Commander of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, Major General Aroldo Lázaro, and they discussed the cooperative relations between UNIFIL and the Lebanese Army. He then received the Chief of the UN Peacekeeping Evaluation Section, Ms. Srilata Rao, leading an accompanying delegation, followed by a delegation from the Order of Malta, and they discussed various matters.
