Visitors of General Aoun

The Lebanese Armed Forces Commander, General Joseph Aoun, received in his office in Yarze the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Lebanon, Sheikh Saoud bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, and the Acting Director General of the Qatar Fund for Development, Mr. Sultan Al Asiri. The discussion focused on ways to support the LAF.

The Qatar Fund for Development announced a financial donation of $15 million designated for securing fuel for the LAF for three months, aimed at enhancing its ability to face increasing security challenges amid the economic conditions in Lebanon.

On the other hand, the LAF Commander appreciated this donation, which comes as part of the ongoing initiatives from the State of Qatar, reflecting its commitment to the fraternal relations between the two sides and to supporting Lebanon's security and stability during these exceptional circumstances.
