Visitors of General Haykal

The Lebanese Armed Forces Commander in Chief, General Rodolphe Haykal, received MP Strida Geagea in his office in Yarzeh, where they discussed the general situation in the country.
He also received the Malaysian Armed Forces Chief, General Datuk Hj Mohd Nizam Bin Hj Jaafar, along with a delegation, in the presence of the Malaysian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mr. Azri Mat Yacob. During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the armies of the two countries and the role of the Malaysian unit operating within the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). The Malaysian Armed Forces Chief laid a wreath at the Army Martyrs' Monument in the Ministry of National Defense.
