Visitors of the Lebanese Army Commander-in-Chief
The Lebanese Army Commander-in-Chief, General Rodolph Haykal, received in his office in Yarzeh the Minister of Administrative Reform, Fadi Makki, who affirmed his support for the military institution and stressed the importance of the army’s role in protecting stability and civil peace, especially in light of current challenges.
He also received the Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon, Chen Chuandong, accompanied by the military Attaché, Senior Colonel Liu Chao. They discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the Lebanese and Chinese armies.
He also received the 2 MPs Asaad Dergham and Nicolas Sahnaoui, followed by MP Firas Hamdan. During these meetings, internal national affairs were discussed, and the MPs praised the efforts of the military institution, expressing their appreciation for the sacrifices of the soldiers.
On the other hand, General Haykal also received former minister Michel Pharaon, and various matters were discussed.
